Australian Children's Book Illustrations - old and new
This exhibition showcases original illustrations from iconic Australian children's books, Margaret Clark’s Fairy drawings from the 1920’s as well as the work of current Scenic Rim illustrators. Guest curator, Janene Gardner from Under The Greenwood Tree Art Gallery and Bookshop, has sourced illustrations from prestigious private collections and local illustrators to produce an exhibition that is sure to delight both young and old.
Children and families are invited to experience some of their favourite books through the eyes of the illustrators and gain an insight into the artistic process.
EXHIBITING ARTISTSExhibition includes original illustrations by some of Australia's most recognised and best loved artists.
