Tatiana Kolesova was born in Moscow and is currently a student at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory in the class of Prof Alexei Nasedkin. In addition she completed a postgraduate course with Prof Jacques Rouvier in Paris. She has given recitals in Russia, Italy, Spain, Poland, Great Britain, Switzerland, Israel and Germany.

 

Prizes won in the 2008 Sydney International Piano Competition of Australia:
1. Second Prize
2. Prize for the best performance of a Chamber Music work
3. Prize for the best performance of a work by a Russian Composer in Stages 1-1V
4. Prize for the best female competitor
