Felicity Smith

Felicity is an accomplished exhibiting artist and art teacher. She trained in the classical realist tradition and her art practice is centred on a fusion between Classical Realism and Contemporary Surrealism. In 2011 Felicity was selected for the Northern Rivers Portrait Award and Exhibition. In 2012 she was a finalist in The Mortimer Award and is the Queensland artist-in-residence for the Mortimer exhibition in 2013. 'I am also a glass artist and have been making leadlight windows in my busy studio at the Butter Factory for the past seventeen years.' Felicity undertakes commissions and teaches drawing and painting for beginners to advanced students so there is always plenty for visitors to see in the studio.
