Louise Grove Wiechers

The work of Louise Grove Wiechers captures the spirit of the ideal rural experience, simplifying key elements to their basics and leaving only the impression of the perceived vision. Louise has been painting for many years, using acrylics, oils, pastels and watercolour and though she has travelled extensively, ‘I have found universal inspiration in the landscapes and surroundings found on Tamborine Mountain.’ Louise is a qualified fine art printmaker, and has recently started making prints again after her passion for the medium was rekindled by a recent trip to France and Belgium. She now has settled back into her beloved Red Barn Studio, where she produces works for solo and group exhibitions and commissions for clients, locally and overseas.
