2020 SCENIC RIM ART WORKSHOPS

Forums, artist talks, open studios, professional development workshops, cultural talks … There’s a lot to talk about, discover and share in the Scenic Rim arts community.

ARTS DINNERS @ THE CENTRE BEAUDESERT

Arts Dinners are designed to stimulate creative industry and cultural development across the Scenic Rim. These free events focus on networking, skill development, and community conversations about things that matter for the arts in our community. Expect a fun night with live entertainment and stimulating discussions.
Please note:  A light supper will be provided at this event with the option to purchase beverages from the bar. Please RSVP the Friday before the event date for catering purposes to The Centre Beaudesert Ph: 5540 5050.

WRITERS' WORKSHOPS WITH QUEENSLAND WRITERS CENTRE

Open to members of the Scenic Rim Writers Groups and residents of Scenic Rim, these are free to attend but registration is required.

SCENIC RIM WRITERS GROUP AND QUEENSLAND WRITERS CENTRE

Writers from around the Scenic Rim are welcome to join this group. The objectives are to hold writing events and workshops to build skills, support each other and develop networks. 
The Queensland Writers Centre (QWC) provides a mentoring role to the group and assists with editing, masterclasses and publications. For more information, contact Ailsa Rolley rolleysa@gmail.com

RELAX AT THE MEMORY CAFE

The Memory Cafe is a place where people with dementia and carers can be themselves, share stories, discover helpful hints or simply enjoy the food and great company. There are also regular guest speakers. For more information, contact Centacare on (07) 5541 1653.
