VERGE Collective brings together the contemporary practices of socially and culturally diverse Brisbane-based women, who engage with photography and new media in equally diverse ways.

CHRISTINE KO uses immersive installation and photomedia, EMMA WRIGHT constructs still and moving images; JULIA SCOTT GREEN is interested in a ‘sense of place’; LISA KURTZ uses photographic archives to explore histories; TAMARA WHYTE adopts a distinct Aboriginal narrative across film, theatre, digital media, and photography; VANESSA BERTAGNOLE abstracts digital forms.

Mentored by internationally recognised artist MARIAN DREW, VERGE's 'Depth of Field' project based in Boonah aims to invigorate their creative practices while developing community relationships.

Reimagining the Landscape Workshop offered at other times. See our website for details.
